Very surprised they got through but good to see Adelaide United’s Craig Goodwin was brought on as a sub for the shoot-out and scored. I want Costa Rica to win on account of their population being poorer and also more into football than NZ so it'll mean more to them. I like NZ as a nation, though, so will still be happy for them if they win. On the pitch, I've always liked Costa Rica since I first saw them play Brazil in the 2002 world cup. They lost 6-2 in that match but were really entertaining. Their 2014 quarter final run was amazing and deserved.
