Pocketman
it's incredible the exposure and coverage the LibDems continue to get. Based on SnV's comparison above, I bet if the SSP consistently had 3-4 MSPs in place since 2003, they would not be getting invited onto debate shows nor be getting a fraction of the invites and coverage that Wee Willie gets to spout off his shite that his 4 MSPs is progress; confirms Scotland's support for the union; and how it allows him to hold the SNPs feet to the fire. Truly delusional shite passed off as political debate by much of our media.
NotThePars
Holding the SNP's feet to the fire is having to hope Alison Johnstone bothers to allow them to ask a question at the end of FMQs.
jakedee
Did he even turn up to FMQ's today?

He no longer gets a guaranteed question as your party needs a minimum of 5 seats for that and they dropped to 4 at the election. With the chamber socially distanced he probably wasn't there now. Suspect Device
Willie Rennie has announced he's stepping down as leader. As if anyone will notice. Certainly no-one will care.

101
Alex Cole Hamilton is going to be fun, a completely deranged individual.

What a party.

tamthebam
I suppose instead of the "Wee Willie Rennie" thread there will now have to be a "That **** Cole-Hamilton" thread
welshbairn
Given that hardly anyone knows who Cole-Hamilton is, and those who do think he's a c**t, I'd imagine head office will be planning a massive cuddly makeover for him.

McArthur is the deputy presiding officer and Wishart is a fairly new MSP so you’d have to think Cole-Hamilton will get in unopposed.

I'm just thinking if someone else stood, he'd have one vote, they'd have one vote and it'd be a tie.
Sherrif John Bunnell
Cole-Hamilton has an Abe Simpson-esque ability to humiliate himself at every opportunity, so at least this will make the Lib Dems marginally more interesting.
sophia
The BBC are reporting that Alex C-Hamilton "has a habit of rubbing people up the wrong way". Setting aside the Jeremy Thorpe 1970s joke book and given the BBC's obsessive required for balance, I do wonder what his worst traits are?
