betting competition
I drink regardless of the result, can't watch Aberdeen sober. Hope we play like we did against Celtic then I would expect to get a result
kingjoey
United rest their entire team last night and we knock our pans in for 95 minutes. That could be telling if it goes to extra time. Be nice if whoever is the referee on Sunday gave us a break by getting all his decisions right in a game involving us for the first time this year, or at least getting them wrong in our favour for a change.

Guest Bob Mahelp
If we play like we did last night, we'll win comfortably. You can see the mojo creeping back.
Dons_1988
Surely we have to score against these useless c***s at least?
Sarto Mutiny
I just want this season to be over. Pity we're going to win this game, really.
Guest Bob Mahelp
The problem we've had against these fuckers is the same one that cursed McInnes for years. We'd start off well, have them on the back foot, then completely run out of ideas after 20 minutes. Yinited would simply build their wall and then wait for us to get fed up banging our heads against it. We were so easy to play against. If last night is anything to go by, it looks like we're going to play a far more driving and inventive game with Ferguson pushed further forward. I feel worryingly confident.
Granny Danger
Mellon is going to start with Shanks, McNulty and Clark. It is a vomit inducing team selection and will result in us losing. Aberdeen fans will watch our style of play and think maybe McInnes wasn’t too bad. -

Given he's the United player that worries me the most, I fully expect this to happen. The three league fixtures this have gone from "if it was a boxing match it would have been stopped, but still almost losing" back in October to a fairly tight matches with United making better chances and maybe just deserving their win in March. Hopefully we are a bit better again for this one, and the fact it is Sunday rather than Saturday is a boost given our opponents rested their team in midweek.
DrewDon
I don't think it will happen, but I would be tempted to start Ramsay at right-back even if McCrorie is fit. I thought Ramsay was excellent on Wednesday and probably offers more going forward than McCrorie does. Lewis obviously comes back in for Woods if he is fit, but Woods did well against Celtic and I wouldn't be concerned about him starting again if required.

Ramsay has earned the right to stay in the team and I hope he does. I was pleasantly surprised by Woods on Wednesday. As Fyvie said during commentary, his distribution was superb - he was popping accurate balls in to feet and on to chests all over the pitch.

Agreed about Woods' distribution - I thought it was better than most of what I have seen from Lewis in that regard. Especially in the first half, it was helping us to retain possession a bit better than I have seen against Celtic in the past. I would still have Lewis back in as soon as he becomes match fit, though, because he is one of the best goalkeepers in the league.
DukDukGoose
Am I the only one who thought Woods distribution was lucky rather than good? He was sclaffing kicks all over the place. Just happened to land at our players feet.

These folk have learned what I realised some years ago: it's better to celebrate before the game, because the aftermath of 90 minutes is usually disappointment.
