and cutting off their primary income stream through drug legalisation.

A snapshot from the next SNP indyref manifesto perhaps?

Forget about relying on that shitty North Sea oil, this is the commodity that'd soon see Scotland become the richest country in the world.

Mark my words, with the money that could be raised, we'd be outbidding the Middle East for world championship boxing fights at the SEC, having our own F1 race at Knockhill and 36 year old Jude Bellingham will be signing a mega bucks deal with Falkirk in the newly formed and revamped Scottish Super League.

We'd be the envy of the world.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Interesting read..

Every society will have people whose main/only talent is committing violence, in most societies these people are outcasts and usually jailed or killed. In violent societies they will get to the top, consider your likes of Sudan or Libya.

It's no surprise that the Lazio ultra leader, killed in a park a few years ago, was desperate for a return to the years of lead. Of course he was. These people thrive on violence and notoriety.

The best way to deal with this is to offer a genuine way out from those from disadvantaged backgrounds, prisons schemes to reduce recidivism, increased mental health resources and cutting off their primary income stream through drug legalisation.

The violent people will still exist, but they will matter less. It's a source of some comfort Scotland doesn't seem as mad as Ireland.

Can't feel any sympathy with the dead guy in Edinburgh, or the one in the link above.

Test your gun extensively before going out Shirley.

Its not just Ireland. Holland, Sweden and you could include Liverpool are all examples that seem to have seen a rise in reckless violent attacks where innocent bystanders can easily be killed or hurt.

John McGlynn would be saying he thought the drug barons were a great bunch of lads.

But Mourinho (and Ian Cathro) will be in the dugout by then.

McGlynn will be the Sporting Director.

The father is dead now.

And three altogether arrested for murder of the gunman who got overpowered and stabbed 20+ times.

It will be interesting to see if they can say it was self defence because they didnt know if he had another gun or whatever. Depends what CCTV shows.

I'd be more interested in if you'd be able to call it self defence if you're never the intended target. You're basically giving free reign to random folk to stab random folk if one guy sees someone get stabbed and it snowballs.

Would make pretty decent TV program tbh.

They disarmed the gunman, then held him down and stabbed him to death. This was all caught on camera. I doubt they’ll get away with self defence.

When a guy walks into a steakhouse shooting a machine gun I think a lawyer will be able to convince a jury most people could assume their life’s are in danger and although the attack was probably quite vicious how are they to know what else he’s carrying who else is coming etc. what would you do if your sitting with your kids and theirs bullets flying? - got what he deserved and it was ultimately caused by the nob going in the first place. They’ll all get something like Manslaughter imo

Give it a year or two and Allan Macgregor will no doubt have done something in his retirement to merit a place in the line up

I think I read that he was stabbed about 30 times, and then shot with his own gun.

I dont disagree that karma was delivered to him, and they will probably end up convicted of manslaughter - but with a long sentence.
