Scots on the move

Recommended Posts

Rumours that Verona and Bologna are interested in Stephen Welsh. Hopefully he moves to one of them. It'd be great for him to test himself in Serie A and, at 23, he really needs to establish himself as a starter somewhere.

Looks like Ryan Fraser is on his way to Southampton to add to their Scottish contingent.

I would love him to get back in form and on the international scene but his attitude has badly let him down over the years. On his day, he’s our best attacking player imo but we’ve very rarely seen that from him.

Still only 29 so should still have something to offer. He should’ve done so much more with his career though.

Theres no chance Fraser is 29, surely.

McTominay and Tierney are both quite heavily linked with Newcastle. Could be an excellent chance for both of them to break into a (top) Premier League first team. KT being out of luck at Arsenal seemingly and Ten Haag seems to not understand that McT is a better attacking midfielder than a defensive one.

Either way, if they both break into that Newcastle side (provided they go), two players playing in a solid Top 7 PL side, with Champions League as well (of course, this applies to Robertson at Liverpool, minus the CL part).

If that's not a good sign of where we as a country/team are headed, what is?

If Tierney goes to Newcastle then he's going to be first choice LB.  He's better than anyone they currently have who can play LB

Somehow Fraser Hornby will be in the Bundesliga this coming season. Just signed for Darmstadt.

I reckon he’s seen the price of hotels in Germany next summer and is getting his accommodation sorted early.

I hope he looks at Lewis Mayo signing for Kilmarnock and realises a Serie A side would be a brilliant out for him. He could find himself lower Scot Prem or even at Championship level if he doesn't get himself established soon.

Hendry on his way to Saudi.

Can’t exactly blame him given his career, for him it genuinely will be life changing. Still disappointing though, as would far rather be cemented himself in the Brugge side.
