Jambomo
Arsenal just can’t cope with even a few injuries - Partey, White & Tierney being out fucks them up big time.
peasy23
One of the things that I find astonishing is that multiple Arsenal managers have thought that Holding is an EPL calibre defender. He looks like a bomb scare every time I see him play.

Had to play more consecutive games than they'd have liked though.

parsforlife
Burnley have defended brilliantly but a mistake from barnes gives away the penalty.
peasy23
Penalty Spurs in first half stoppage time, VAR check and it's ruled as handball against Barnes. Soft but his arm is up at shoulder height. Kane converts to give Spurs the lead.

Donathan
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a VAR review where the video assistant recommends the referee to check the monitor and the ref subsequently sticks with his original decision. Ever.
accies1874
Still don't think that situation should be a penalty but hey ho

Ever. Tbf it used to happen at the start of VAR but it's pointless now.

It does, and to think they tried to recreate the yellow wall with their safe standing section. As for the penalty, ball hitting an outstretched arm leaves the officials little choice. Defenders simply must be aware of the position of their arms to avoid getting penalised in these situations.
peasy23
An absolute worldie of a save from Pope leeps it at 1-0.
peasy23
Although I should add that Barnes was really unlucky when he rattled a shot off the post before that. Burnley much improved since half time.
