Ebanda's Handyman Services
4-0 going on 6 or 7 and we end up drawing 4-4. Was ready to put the mortgage on Hamilton going down as they were terrible but kudos to them for that comeback. It must feel like a win.

Broken Algorithms
When it went to 4-0 up, a lot of the folk about me were talking about how we could be on 5 or 6 and realistically we really should've been at full time. Defensively, it was a complete capitulation but I'd keep the back line exactly the same for the Caley game as the problems were all coming from further up the field. Over the 90 minutes, we created plenty of chances like against Alloa but we were finding the net with them. Zanatta and Poplatnik coming on, with Templeton coming on for Accies completely changed the dynamic of the game. None of the young lads coming on had the experience either physically or mentally to handle what was happening. BRS came on as a ball winning midfielder but barely had a touch Varion looked reasonable enough but probably should've buried the chance which he took round the keeper where he ended up stumbling. Kai Fotheringham looked very raw. When breaking through one on one, he had an opportunity to cut back to Connolly at the back post to make it 5-3. He rifled it off the bar, and Accies go up the pitch to equalise. There's still every reason to be optimistic about the team and the direction we're going. Zanatta and Connolly were outstanding today. It's a brutal feeling watching your team go from being 4-0 up to end up drawing 4-4 after creating so many chances, but the most important thing is not to lose the plot over it.

embow
It's been a long long time since the 4-4 at Rugby Park in 1968(?). Four up at HT away from home ..the rest is history as will this be.

Offshore Rover
At 4-0 it never really felt like 4-0, Hamilton were always in and around our box with a threat but nothing fell for them in the first half. The half time subs made the difference, much more threatening and in the end it worked out for them. poor subs from us today, not the right subs at all

FuzzyBear
Well that was a laugh and I hope it doesnt paper over the cracks. We were pathetic for 70 mins and Raith could easily have had 7 or 8 but some fightback inspired by McMann, Temps and Ryan. Could even have won it as Smith missed a great chance with a header at the back post.

Exactly, as noted elsewhere, Tumilty might have been nicked, so perhaps McKay for Tumilty would have been the move instead of withdrawing Vaughan, assuming Vaughan wasn’t nicked. In that case, still McKay for Vaughan and go three wide across the back. Templeton was schooling us, and is a quality player. Varian’s chance wasn’t a terrible choice, as he was too close to the keeper with control…Fotheringham should probably have passed, but it was a sweetly struck ball…Zanatta tried to nutmeg the keeper, but he responded well to block it, his control was established a little to close to do anything else. The amount of flailing about in from of the net was most concerning for us, but I was honestly expecting to start this game with three CB, not two, so having this happen wasn’t entirely surprising. Our clean sheets were against lower level opposition and a toothless Livi. Varian looks very skillful, BRS looks a bit raw and inexperienced. Agree the feeling isn’t great, but it’s not curtains either.
