Dif he not start out as a midfielder?

Utd still had a right good team at that time.

If that had been a decade earlier, Utd might have been able to hold onto the likes of Dailly, Ferguson etc and what could have been for them.

What I think Dailly was able to fo really well in his career was to be able to adapt to a changing game. As he got older and slower he was able to find a bit more space and time by being able to read the game so well and that made up for what he was loosing in his legs. Also seemed to make the right transfers at the right time. Is his son not at Utd now? Or was?

His boy was at United as a youngster, but was released. Last spotted at Panmure, but I think he got a bad injury.

Christian was a superb player for us, and just about every team he played for. Consistent good performances anywhere you put him on the pitch, and we put him in some weird places. He was the type of player that every club needs - solid, hard working and dependable, and the 2nd or third best player (at worst) in almost every position.

Couldn't sleep, been out for a cycle, pumped the missus, fed the youngest his breakfast and now getting ready to go swimming. Beers will be flowing soon, Fucking love derby day.

Bit early for swimming is it not? Should you not wait after the game so you can swim in United tears? [emoji57]

The idea of United having a huge support today then losing to our B team is sinking in, and sounds like it could be absolutely tremendous.

Devine for Booth, Muller for whichever of the central three needs a rest, Craig or Bryson in for Davidson, May for Kane, Spoony for one of the other front three. If Vertainen suddenly appears as available I’d sling him in as well.

Its nice to have a bit of depth that we can actually use at this stage!

When did this become a thing?

 Supporter update

Saints fans in the Ormond today should use gates 20 & 21 and take up seats in the red section (section M) of the Ormond Stand.

Section K (blue seats) will remain sterile as it’s to be used for segregation.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Pretty sure the Ormond Stand used to be completely mixed for these games.  A third of the seats for segregation sounds a bit extreme.

No we’re all saving our money for the big game on Thursday night.

Today we are fully milking the Tangerine Angus cash cow.

Cant afford two games in the space of a few days with those prices? Perth tinks

Id guess they can't guarantee it'll just be family groups in the Ormond so think separating the fans are best, which is fair enough.

Think it’ll be over 7000 now.

Website is still open for ticket sales.

Looks like Saints have sold about 3/4 of our seats in both the East Stand and the 2 end sections of the Main.

Must be about 3750 Saints, 2800 Utd before counting any in the Ormond from either side which would be about 600 each if it sells out.

McDiarmid can be a soulless place a lot of the time when less than half full, probably like most grounds, but over 6500-7000 and it can be a cracking atmosphere.

But I’m sure it was only advertised as a family stand for this?  There was no online sale of Ormond tickets, it was all phone up ticket office and book.

Saints fans won’t need the seats anyway, but a whole section for segregation just seemed a bit extreme.

Would look far better seeing Dabslayer Stevie May bang in another goal in front of an Ormond Stand packed out with jubilant Saints and angry Arabs!
