The thing is this Bills team, or at least the offense, is built to play in a dome rather than in sideways snow. Obviously hope I'm wrong but this Reeks of 14-10 NE with a D/ST touchdown in there.

Not far off. If you can't stop the run (NE attempted 3 passes in the whole game with 2 of those in the last 5 minutes) and can't run it yourself then you're not going to get very far. Think Allen could feel let down by a couple of his receivers, Knox especially.

Fucking Patriots vs Packers Super Bowl with two Trump supporting wankers at QB to look forward to. Oh joy. Why the Bills didn't seem to bother running the ball, f**k knows.

Because the best running back on the roster is the QB

Fixed.

Trubisky to QB1 and Allen to RB1, who says no?

Seriously though, the run game is awful. Other teams can find guys off the street or sign 83 year old Adrian Peterson and still get something but the Bills have a cabal of guys who love just running into folk

That said the OL play has to be better too.

Mayfield's mechanics are all over the place. He wasn't like this earlier in the season, so it can only really be down to the injury. I know it's his non-throwing shoulder, but a torn labrum is absolute agony and totally restricts your movement down that entire side of your torso. He's not setting his feet, not rotating properly, and is clearly throwing entirely with his arm rather than his body. I don't believe an NFL coaching staff would stand by and watch this happen without correcting it if it was a simple case of sloppiness. I dislocated my shoulder and tore the labrum nearly thirty years ago. NHS didn't diagnose it properly and never gave me any physio or corrective surgery. I had to stop playing several sports because of the lingering effects, and even now it has never resolved itself properly and I still get pain any time I raise my hand above shoulder height and I can not rotate my shoulder fully.

I'm not excusing Mayfield's shitty level of play, because if he really is that hurt then he shouldn't be playing in the first place, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the injury is responsible for the vast majority of the issues with inaccuracy. He's not suddenly become a far worse QB than he previously was four years into his career without there being some sort of underlying cause for his issues.
