J_Stewart
Queue wasn't too bad, but payment was a fucking nightmare. Used my debit and Visa to try multiple times and got absolutely nowhere, used my wife's (who is at a different bank) and it worked first time. Assume it may be a Bank of Scotland problem. Flying out for a stagger the morning after this. Going to be some weekend.

Every time saying there is an issue with payment !!!!! Use a mastercard card if you have one. I tried with Mother in Laws and same issue ! I have an Amex card which is a payment option they do not accept. Really annoying me now as has been going on for nearly an hour. I then have to try and reselect seats as basket times out and of course they are poorer ones than the previous ones.

Big Fifer
Tickets have arrived by email, why after the past few games being the electronic scanners are they now "Print @ Home" tickets? Reckon the QR code will still work on your phone? ETA - never mind, there's a bit on the ticket that says "If you're using your phone..." so I guess this is still fine. Was gonna say used my phone for the games in the autumn and worked a charm.
Guest
Decided against buying the package. Looks like I won't be getting in the North Stand for the Ukraine game
MeadowArab
The queue just to get onto the website must've been partially caused by all the folk stuck at the checkout page.
Distant Doonhamer
Bought tickets just now. No queue but issues with credit card. First one rejected. 2nd one worked fine.

Donathan
UEFA announce the losing semi-finalists will play a friendly against each other on the date of the final. What’s the fucking point in that?

What’s the fucking point in that? UEFA countries need to play 2 games in the international break so it makes sense the losers play each other in a friendly since it would be much more difficult to arrange friendlies with other teams which were subject to cancellation if you then progressed to the final. Most of the other playoff groups had already announced this.
Bully Wee Villa
That would be the most depressing friendly ever.

It was brought in a few years ago to prevent teams doing what Switzerland did for years and manipulate the rankings by not playing friendlies. Teams can still manipulate rankings to a degree by picking the right opposition but that's less avoidable. If so, does that mean all of the qualified countries and those already eliminated must organise two friendlies?

The other confederations still have their WC qualifiers ongoing so the likes of Asia, North/Central and South America are playing qualifiers in March. For UEFA all the teams not involved in the playoffs will play 2 friendlies and I think most nations have announced theirs by now.

It's also because these friendlies are part of the UEFA broadcasting deal that they sell - all friendlies are now produced with the full UEFA graphics and so on too.
