Yet Celtic struggle to break down teams more than Rangers.

Rangers have only failed to score once in the last 55 league matches.

Celtic have failed to score 4 times this league campaign.

I disagree, we don’t fail to break teams down, what we do have is a tendency to squander chances even in games when comfortably ahead but that’s to be expected when we have played the majority of the season so far with a centre forward who isn’t naturally a centre forward. Yesterday’s as an example the game should have been much more a comfortable score than it was both Giakoumakis and O’Riley should have scored their chances

In saying that we have scored only 1 goal less than Rangers this season so far

This fixture died a death when the limited numbers on away fans were introduced. It will continue to do so until they are reinstated. Hampden carries the best atmosphere for this fixture these days which says a lot.

So?

Nope. Just wee Jimmy Bell.

Why not?

Cos both clubs have embarked on a tit for tat policy of firstly allowing 800 away fans in at each ground - then for some reason there were no away fans at the last game at Ibrox - so we’re returning the favour. All very childish.

We all know who the tits were in both situations. 😉

That's quite daft. I know Celtic and Rangers were hitting out with the "red zone" pish earlier in the season but how have Celtic justified it for this game?

it is to be fair as it only serves to see this particular can kicked down the road to the next game.

I'm looking forward to going on Wednesday however it will be strange not seeing any Rangers fans there doubly so when there is no one there to point and laugh at when we smash them ;)

In all seriousness it's to the detriment of the game and both clubs need to get their act together.

John Paul Taylor, the Celtic SLO spoke about this earlier in the year and stated 'One side is willing to negotiate, one isnt'

Basically they couldn't handle us celebrating at Ibrox after dishing out a few pumpings.

So they cut the allocation

Edit: Leigh Griffiths waving an irish flag in the stand annoyed Kris Boyd for some reason, to the point he was calling for him to be abused by RFC fans

Rangers sent Celtic tickets for the match earlier this season but then cancelled them after Celtic would not confirm that Rangers fans could attend the return fixture, covid permitting.

The way I heard it, and it may be what you’re saying, is that Celtic couldn’t confirm Rangers fans could attend because they had no idea where we would be with the covid situation, no fans, reduced numbers or full stadium come the Dec fixture.

Classy. And they wonder why normal people hate them.
