magic sign
Mike Gesicki can't block and hardly played any snaps inline last season. Instead he predominantly played as a slot receiver. There's every chance Gesicki could ask to be designated as a WR instead of a TE, a difference of approx $8million. Could be a costly decision by the Dolphins.

It's great news for the AFC West, because for years the Chargers have been the only team that can lay a glove on the Chiefs. It means that KC might not automatically go 4-0 v's Denver and LV for once, meaning a more competitive Division race. In other news, LAC has re-signed Mike Williams. 3 Years, 20 Million per.

It’s definitely not great news for us beating the Broncos all the time like as has been the case under their last pair of HCs. What a brutal division it’s going to be next year.
peasy23
Russell Wilson off to Denver! I like Wilson, and even though he looked way past his best last season I'm glad to see the back of him in the NFC West. That's a huge amount of stuff to be trading away.Seahawks releasing Bobby Wagner has sort of gone under the radar because of the Wilson trade, both joined on the same day and leave on the same day, albeit in hugely contrasting ways.
Brummie Clyde
Be interesting to see how Wilson gets on in an Offence that throws the ball a bit more and has an okay OLine. There was talk that the Broncos wanted to bring Melvin Gordon back, as well as having Javonte Williams.
Brummie Clyde
Bobby Wagner released and Tyler Lockett apparently on the trade block too, so full rebuild for Seahawks

Brummie Clyde
The Giants are going to make a run to sign…….. Mitchell Trubisky [emoji17]Tbh, I think he's pretty similar to Danny Dimes. Fairly mobile QB, that is rubbish at deep throws, but could be a decent game manager, given OLine and Offensive weapons around him.
GNU_Linux
Lions look to be releasing OLB Trey Flowers in an expected move. Flowers was scheduled to earn $23.2 million in 2022 & a release sees the Lions take a cap hit of $12.85 million but also clear up $10.4 million in cap space. Flowers has been limited to just 14 games the past two seasons due to injury.C Ryan McCollum & OLB Rashod Berry have both re-signed.

Question is, if Jags select Hutchinson, who do you want with the number 2 pick?Did see some suggestion that you select a QB. Do wonder if you're better waiting for next year for one though.
Fife Saint
Amari Cooper to Cleveland for a 5th rounder and swap of six round picks. 20m a year contract will surely be reworked.

Brummie Clyde
Looks like Saints or Panthers for DeShaun Watson, with the former being the favourites (as Watson can make the decision himself).Said to be for something like 3x 1sts, 2x 2nds, plus players! So Texans would likely be picking at 18 & 49, as well as their current picks at 3 and 37 in the Draft. Be interesting to see whether they draft a QB, or stick with Mills and give him some weapons maybe. No idea how the Saints will manage with an already pretty crap Cap situation and no decent draft picks.

In the National Football League, the franchise tag is a designation a team may apply to a player scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent. The tag binds the player to the team for one year if certain conditions are met. Each team has one franchise tag and one transition tag per year.
