8MileBU
Shock (and delightful) result between Tranent and Shire. Didn’t see that one coming.
Highland ITFC
Advantage BU now in the race for the 2nd spot, assuming that EK don't suffer a remarkable implosion, although having said that it does look that BU have a tougher run-in than Cumbernauld, with Tranent's also being tough. Heard that the Albion-Cumbernauld game was largely in the latter's favour in terms of possession & chances, but that they couldn't make that pay, & one moment of quality from a freekick won it for the home side.
Omnishambles
Can't see us with a realistic shout for 2nd now barring a run of form out of nowhere between now and the end of the season. Still in with a shout for some silverware at least, but our league form - particularly at home - has really flattered to deceive at times this season. Shipping 4 goals at home to a side in the bottom half won't do many favours either.

I like your honesty Omni Just a few weeks ago some Belters fans thought a win away to East Kilbride and Tranent were back in the title race, or certainly finish 2nd. Now, there is a chance they might not finish in top 6. Hopefully they can steady the ship, then prepare for 2024-25.

Expected them to really push EK for the league with the team they have. A decent manager away from being real contenders?

The number of managers that come and go, seems to be far too many. Each new manager wants their own type of player, so turnover of players also appears non-concussive for a settled team. Guys like Sean Murphy (great player) and Ben Murphy have been at club for a long period and served their club well. But there are a number of players who come and go so quickly and it’s hard to keep up and think what their best 11 is.

With the Rose injury problems Boness will start as strong favourites for this one.

Had far too much disappointing moments at Prestonfield over the years to be over confident about this one. We are certainly favourites but after the return fixture earlier in the season shows that there probably isn’t a massive amount between the teams and when all fit the Rose will be up the top end of the table next year.

FairWeatherFan
Big win for Edinburgh University away to Albion Rovers. Gets them off the bottom by a single point. Bit like watching a couple of snails racing but at least they're keeping it interesting.

Crowd was excellent and altogether was a real indicator of what the Lowland League could be once everything settles over the next few years. Get a few more EoS and WoS and it'll be a cracking division with actual rivalries to enjoy.

Game was pretty poor, especially that first half. Decent crowd though always good to see. Shame the Linlithgow young team never got in but i’m sure the stewards had their reasons
