It would be really nice to see but if £££ newco comes calling who's going to resist! Sloop John B Posted March 31, 2013 Share Posted March 31, 2013 (edited) Disappointed if Nicky goes there, but they are paying significantly more than he earns now and it is easy to forget that they aren't earning megabucks and for that I can't really hold it against him, It'll be a contract of a lifetime but he'll not be needed after 2 years if he goes to Rangers. He won't be as appreciated for scoring as many if he goes there. Then again they are linked with everyone. That's a view I have a lot of sympathy with though there are plenty of clubs in Scotland who have defaulted on debts to local business. There is of course an alternative view that "The Rangers" have already had a very significant punishment, no thanks to our own club as it happens. Time to move on in many ways despite our own natural anxiety that a "bigger" club could take some of our better players.
