Demented Zebra
Ross will sign for you today. Busted a gut for us against Dundee he is a bit raw but will improve. Take care of the big lad.

staggy4life
Ross Stewart confirmed. Surely we need to get rid of Greg Morrison now as he's probably 6th choice striker if you include Dow.
Comrie
Wonder where Stewart fits in now he's the second big lad in the side? Mckay, Graham, McManus, Stewart with Dow and Midge dropping off them. Official confirmation: Edited August 10, 2018 by Comrie

Plenty of potential and better with his feet than his head, unusually for someone his size. 40 grand is a decent fee though, and am sure he will score goals for you in the championship. Could be one we live to regret.

Official confirmation: Stewart is very mobile for his size. Can play in a variety of positions - likes to drop deep and pick up the ball.

NorthBank
Some Buddies sad to see him go but most realise he isn’t good enough for the Premiership.
Comrie
The last player we got from St. Mirren was Naismith. If he's even half as good, I'll be happy.
Savage Henry
The last player we got from St. Mirren was Naismith. If he's even half as good, I'll be happy.Indeed. We were told Naismith wasn’t good enough for the step up as well. Quite clearly Stewart has been signed to allow the reserves to play the same as the first team.
Silvio Tattiescone
Don Cowie on a 3 year deal?
StuartTaylor
Presumably will be a position in the coaching setup for him too.

Funny.
yoda
Hopefully we'll see more of Cowie as a coach than a player. Admittedly it'll be tremendous seeing him back in a County shirt but I'm not sure where he fits? I'll tentatively suggest that maybe this isn't a SKSF signing?
StoneThrowAway
What is cowie again, a RM? I think we’re more than solid centrally... would be very surprised if it wasn’t a coaching role too!
Silvio Tattiescone
Three year deal apparently
Savage Henry
Again, I’d be surprised if Don Cowie has been signed as a first team player. He’ll have a coaching role, certainly if the three year contract is anything to go by.

Not in the same class as Naismith IMO. Although in his time with us we didn't see too much of him, when I did see him play, I didn't ever think that he showed enough to become a regular at Championship level, never mind in the top league. Maybe regular football with you, will be the making of him. For me he's an O.K. player, with some potential. However, he needs to bulk up a bit and be more composed in front of goal. Neither happy nor sad that he's gone. Good business if we got £40K for him. Hope he does well for you.

Aye, if he's actually come wanting to play that's a bewildering choice because we're overflowing in the middle of the park.
