He's not really had a chance, but whenever he's had minutes, he's looked better than your giant jogger!
CALDERON
Massive win, and much more comfortable on reflection than it felt at the time. Still feel that we are nowhere near good enough up top, but at least we were able to add goals from elsewhere. The defence were very good tonight, but granted its easily the worst attack they've come up against.

Hank Scorpio
Mind when folk were up in arms about having no centre halves and how our defence was a disaster and we should’ve kept centre halves who were terrible last year? Now we’ve got a centre half on the bench and a left back at centre half and the second best goals against tally in the league, with Vaughan to come back up front. Everything going to fine imo.
Raith_Raver
A win against injury hit Bogey Thistle on Saturday would see us move to within two points of them and possibly into the top four. They're the only team to have lost less league goals than us, but tellingly only Arbroath and Accies have scored less. If only we had a striker...

RAITHROVERS84
Just back and had a catch up on the posts. Some points from me. Stanton has been MOM in just about every game this season. He’s SPL level on current form. Brown has been a great signing. Big battling fully committed player. 2nd away game in 3 I’ve been yards away from someone spewing.. WTF is going on. Fred does a good flappy seagull impression with his arms. Perfect timing from IM to bring him off, it was becoming embarrassing. Abroath didn’t have a clue what to do with the ball and the back like look uncomfortable passing it about. Ngwenya has earned a starting slot in the team - no debate. Worldie save from Jammer in the first half. Other teams seem to get hunners of corners against us we seem to get next to none (don’t recall any tonight). Mickey C in the dugoot would bring a tear and a smile to the most miserable of RR fans. The team while inconsistent feels like we’re a goalscorer away from going on a run, the bench looks strong, defence is sound and the midfield tonight was fantastic taking the conditions into account. Enjoyable night and dare I say looking forward to giving a good account in Inverness.
CALDERON
Scott Brown was very, very good tonight. Stanton will rightly get the plaudits, but Brown has so far been an excellent signing.

Easy to say that as we won tonight ( thank god ) but we would have been in a sticky situation if we hadn’t ( fine margins) dick playing well and long may it continue that we aren’t conceding as we have a chance to nick something at the other end. If we could get a full squad for a bit then we may kick on

Always interesting how others see games, as I think Brown has been honking, some poor decisions tonight at both ends of the pitch.

Don’t know how you watch the game and think he’s honking tbh. Him being the steady base has a lot to do with Stanton being given the freedom to get further forward. One doesn’t happen without the other.

Our chances seem to come through the middle a lot more than wide. Probably points again to showing how influential Stanton is.

Genuinely can’t remember how it came about. It’s just a little thing that I’ve noticed in recent weeks and the QP game in particular as it was inevitable that the big lad who scored from one would get one eventually. It’s carried on these last two games since.
