However I'm very disappointed by this news, and whilst she was reportedly nominated by constituents I think it will be a very small number, with the vast bulk wondering why Labour still cling to the notion that they represent progressive politics and fairness across society.

Div
Guys, some of this stuff has gone WAY too far. I’ve hidden some posts. Don’t re-post this shit please. Whether you are pro or anti monarchy doesn’t bother me in the slightest but please do respect that there will be plenty others with a different view to yours. Healthy debate is fine but let’s keep it decent for fucks sake.

welshbairn
Missed all this.. 46 minutes ago, FreedomFarter said: A comment was posted about Charles fingering his wife Camilla. A long term alias guy then put an outraged reply. He'd mistakenly thought the previous comment had been about Charles fingering his dead mother Elizabeth. That same guy also stated he has collected 200 screenshots of comments from P&B that he personally found offensive. He threatened he was going to pester media outlets with this collection of his in the hope one would use them to publish a negative story about P&B. Presumably his hope was that'd then put off advertisers and P&B would lose profitability.

Suspect Device
My post was completely accurate. No idea why it was deleted in 'the purge'. I need to get in touch with that free speech union that DPB was on about.

Similarly, I quoted verbatim four lines from a specific telephone conversation between the current queen and someone that I identified as "C the 1/3rd" in the hope of sparing his blushes. Although I don't watch the program, I believe that the same conversation was recently portrayed on hit Netflix programme "The Crown". Obviously it must be too racy for staid old P'n'B

Sincere apologies for any offence this might have caused.

Fullerene
One issue to consider here is Boris Johnson. Obviously he was never fit to be Prime Minister and there is little to suggest he took the role seriously. However if the UK was a republic with a non-executive president who would cut ribbons, open hospitals, greet visiting dignitaries and give tiresome speeches then Johnson would have been far better at that than the role he was forced to quit. He would also have been a lot cheaper than the Royal Family I suspect.

Better yet, we could have a republic with a token head of state who is not a lying arsehole.
