As to your question, I suspect not. There are some countries in the world - including the country hosting this years World Cup - in which homosexuality is a crime punishable by imprisonment and death. Many people all over the world struggle with their sexuality because they feel that they cannot be their true selves. The suicide rate in the LGBTQ+ population is significantly higher than in the general population. People should be free to be their true selves. It doesn't matter if they're lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer or whatever. Unfortunately this is not the reality in some countries. Joking about "coming out" is not funny in the slightest - because there are people in the world who would give anything to be able to do that, but cannot because they fear the consequences. Unfortunately, in the countries in which homosexuality is illegal, they are right to fear the consequences.
