Are other people taking that into account for their lists?

I only saw City of God once, but it's definitely one of my top ten, while I've seen shite like The Happening more than most films on my list. Very entertaining, but not for reasons of quality!

There are things I've seen this year that could/will be some of my favourites, but it would feel wrong including something that I've only seen once and a couple of months ago. 8½ and Breathless would fall into that category. Tbh I've not got a clue what to include and might just do a rough one in alphabetical order.

Zulu makes mine not because I would ever put it in but when it's on telly I'll stop what im doing and watch it.

Quite a few like that narrowly missed the cut. Basically anything with Christopher Waltz.
