That’s us played them 3 times and here are some facts: Dunfermline have had 4 different goal scorers in these games. Falkirk have managed a total of 4 shots on target. Incredible stat.
SouthStander1876
Woke up absolutely gutted this morning. Very disappointing from the players providing us with an utterly gutless display. What is this McGlynn-Dunfermline hoodoo? All well and good beating Peterhead, but when it comes to the big games we shit the bed. Very tough to take. Scottish cup win will make up for the league however
DA-go Par Adonis
Aye, hopefully Ayr can knock that one on the head on Monday. Preferably after extra time and in heart-breaking circumstances.

Very well regarded by Raith and their fans until the last few months of his time there, has taken our rudderless rabble from 6th in the league to 2nd at worst - to suggest he's not very good is fanciful. Unfortunately, has ran into a team that has lost 1 game in the league in mid March. Football is football.

When there is a big crowd and a lot of pressure his bottle clearly goes. Also hasn't learnt from his mistakes, simple header at the back post and for ever corner you left Benedictus as a free man, in other games that would have been punished.
CallumPar
By the way, normally a big away crowd is very loud - at least early on. What was going on with Falkirk last night? Even in the first half, their fans were so flat/quiet. More often than not, away fans are louder than home fans in such a big crowd. But there was barely any noise from the away end all night. They seem to make a lot of noise on here and on social media, but don’t seem to actually get behind their team at games? Obviously wouldn’t be expecting much noise from them second half, but that doesn’t explain the first, where they had a lot of the ball and got into good areas.

Hmm, very obvious you don't really understand the fine margins in football. It's as if he himself lost the header from the corner Our "bottle" has been much improved, but does Mcglynn have a "big game" win in him? We'll definitely find that out this season. And, yes, Raith fans do appreciate what he did for them - those with the ability to look at information rationally, that is.

HoBNob
Falkirk fans by and large have been very magnanimous in defeat. Very dissapointing.

jamamafegan
Just to indulge in some more crowd wanking, the attendance last night was greater than the majority of English League 1 games also played last night. Not bad for the Sweaty Sock League 1.

All 3 games against you guys, your fans have been a lot quieter than you’d expect. It might feel loud if you’re in amongst the small percentage of fans that actually try to create an atmosphere, but last night in particular, the away end was very quiet for the full game. The fans were loud pre-game, I’ll give them credit for that. But as soon as the game kicked off, the away end went quiet and stayed that way.
Stoo61
Tbf up until the first goal I was a nervous wreck and more or less silent but after the first goal I was like prime 1990 Nessun Dorma Pavarotti and as we know....Falkirk fans didn't have that goal. Just the nerves. Pain. Disappointment. Embarrassment.
SouthStander1876
Its just the distance of the fans then I think. Even the NW didnt sound very good. Only when you scored.
Heaton
From the main stand they seemed pretty vocal tbf. Maybe drowned out by our own fans in the NW if you were closer to them. Fair play to the Falkirk fans for firstly attending and for being gracious in defeat. Better people than me. I'd be silent asf
