qpfc
What a terrible reschedule date that is for us. Play on a Tuesday night followed by a huge Friday night game against Ayr. Got to imagine all the fringe players will play Inverness now ? Edited January 20, 2023 by qpfc

Would rather we made 8/9 changes for it now, under those circumstances. 100% agree. Was hoping a bit if a run in this but not at the expense of the league. Clearly there could be a big payday in future rounds but probably not that lucky. Couldnt find anything on league standing prizes what any cup payments might be. Anyone know? Edited January 20, 2023 by mcjameos
Bring Your Own Socks
Tragic story getting some artificial snow dropped off by the council to force a postponement. Suggest we don’t turn up and concede. Only chance ICT have of scoring three goals against us.
an86
Real spanner in the works stuff. As others have said, we can’t go up there with our strongest team now. Three games in six days, including our two most important to date. Would be madness not to put ourselves in the strongest possible position to get a result against Ayr.  Gives Billy Dodds extra time to address the flow of tears, also.

After playing only 2 games per week for most of the season, your squad cant manage one extra game in a week? That's pretty much the cadence during the play-offs for games.

Nobody's saying it wouldn't be possible, or that the team isn't capable of playing 3 games in a relatively short amount of time. We'd just rather not risk it.

We’re highly unlikely to win the cup, so it’s obvious which ones should take priority. We didn’t expect to be in the position we are in, so we have to do everything possible to try and give it the best possible crack at having a run at the title.  I want us to win every single game and would be playing a full strength side tomorrow. Being jammed in between a Saturday at Dens and a Friday night game with Ayr changes everything, though. Would love a run in the cup, but would love a run at the title more.

Stephen Malkmus
An excellent outcome. An extra day chilling in the Everlast spa for our lads and Queen's Park's schedule in ruins.

Skeletar Spider
No issues with the schedule. We can send Jong Queen's Park up on the Tuesday night to take care of this shower sandwiched in between comfortable wins over Dundee and Ayr. Scottish Cup #11 is still in our sights.
