Since I didn't get to react to it when it happened, think Neilson's sacking shows Scottish football's short-termism at its worst, even though I think he's a right p***k. How he's been booted before Hibs sack that clown Lee Johnson is beyond me. Hearts were about 25 points clear of that Aberdeen side under Goodwin about two months ago. It's as clear a sackable offence as you can get, never mind being in track to finish 5th.

It's the exact opposite. Not sacking him ages ago because we were getting away with poor performances was short-termism. He's been lucky to get this far, and the only people who disagree are people who don't watch Hearts.
HeartsOfficialMoaner
I put the pictures on the wrong thread but after my 15 minute search in wiki and I would like Ricardo Rodriguez who was a manager in Japan and is looking to go to England or Marek Papszun who manages a little team in Poland and wins trophies. I will send my email to The Budge

1GregStewart
Hearts should find it easier than Aberdeen did to get the right man. There are plenty of managers down in England with a good reputation for working at yo-yo clubs.

Illgresi
I must admit, Steven Naismith's thick *** numbskull look/persona really seems to fit the Hearts manager position.
VincentGuerin
More interesting in a lot of ways than who Hearts appoint is where the f**k Neilson's next job will be. For all the talk of it being harsh etc from outsiders, there's not a hope he gets appointed by Aberdeen. Obviously he'll not end up at Hibs. For all that there were factors involved in his time at MK going sour, it's still a black mark against his name down there and he'd struggle to get anything approaching that level of club now. Where the f**k does he go? Maybe United if they go down? Just carry on with a life of repetition and winning the Championship endlessly?

Think Neilson still has a relatively decent rep within Scottish football. Could easily get a gig at any club outwith the size of the Aberdeen/Hibs/Hearts bracket IMHO. Aberdeen look settled under Robson, Hibs have devoured head coaches in the last 5 years and need to stick with Johnson for a while IMHO and that seems to be the mindset in the boardroom (I'll probably regret saying this).
