Aberdeen vs Hibernian

Recommended Posts

Massive game for both sides in the race for the top 3.

Feel it is a must win for Hibs if they want to finish 3rd. Think Aberdeen need to win their home games to finish 3rd.

Aberdeen celebrating the 40th anniversary of winning the Cup Winners Cup in Gothenburg so home end will be sold out

We can potentially confirm at least 5th but would prefer not to, while still winning.

Not sure i'm happy with Coulson at rb against that Youan lad.

Hoping our front two are just too much for the ageing Hibs back line.

Expecting a close one.

If Aberdeen win their home games then they'll finish third. No danger are Hearts picking up anything at Ibrox.

I trust Aberdeen will lay down in this one in our collaborated efforts along with St Mirren to pump Hearts out of a European spot.

Tell you what, promise to win at tynecastle and we’ll agree a draw.

ETA - if you don’t fulfil your end of the bargain you owe Aberdeen or myself (whichever has the lowest bank balance) £6m.

I am finding myself more and more concerned about this game as the days go on.

Seem to recall a similar fight for second place a few seasons back, which in those days meant going into the Europa at QR2 instead of QR1.

Hibs were also in the equation and came north - forced an early penalty, missed it and a nervy 0-0 ensued.  This all led to us having to go to flag day at Parkheid and win to secure second which we duly did.

I feel that kind of @rse about t1t route is the method that will be required this time.  Just winning the two home games would be far too simple and straightforward, which means it won't happen.

I don’t think we’ll get second

That's it confirmed on Twitter that we have sold out. I am also informed that there are no more tickets available for this game.

It is on twitter but there is still 20 or so left on the website, I just bought mine in RDU. Not sure why they can't open up the lower 8 rows of section Y that are always covered, could surely shift another few hundred for this and announce it as sold out on Friday.

Fair play, should be a good atmosphere on Saturday.

Win here and 4th is on. Lose and and we’ll finish 5th at most.

He’ll only be able to pay in Zimbabwean pounds roughly 300000 to 1 sterling but at least you’ll get payed👍

Our safety certificate from the council says we’re not allowed to sell the full capacity of the South, Main and Merkland stands. This means we cover the seats at the front of the Y and don’t sell some of the seats behind pillars in the Main and Merkland (pre-Red Shed).

Blame the nanny state council.
Utterly pathetic that the Red Shed is only allowed 70% capacity.
