Maybe if he didn't wear ripped jeans and a short sleeved shirt, he would feel a bit warmer.

Community champion says no new housing.

 

A disabled mum living in an adapted home in Ladywood has vowed to fight any moves to force her out and demolish it in a planned £2.2 billion transformation. Community champion April Barrett has been in the Midland Heart-owned house in Rann Close since it went up some 28 years ago.

"Where are they going to put me if they intend to demolish these houses? They say we will have a right of return as Midland Heart tenants, but to what?   Will they make sure there is a lower window so I can see out while stood in the kitchen
