velo army
No, but it's on the horizon for me. The writing on jars etc is now small enough that I have to hold said jar like I'm about to deliver the "alas, poor Yorick" soliloquoy (sp) and couldn't find a handy skull. I pure fancy women who wear glasses though. I blame Rachel Lee Cook in "She's All That" for that.

die hard doonhamer
I wore glasses from the age of 5 up until 29. Got laser eye surgery at the start of last year though.

Spent over an hour in Specsavers trying to put them in myself, dropping them on the floor and everything. The young fella helping me was trying to be nice but I was a shaking mess before I had to give up. Sure I must be talked about in Specsavers Byres Road to this day. I was the same when I first tried to put them in. There is a knack to it though, once you get it it's a piece of piss.
Raidernation
Yes, now as the vari-focus stage (although if I'm reading for more than a couple of minutes I take 'em off as is more comfortaable than tring to hold a book at a slightly weird angle.

mathematics
Not yet. This is a little surprising as my dad has been wearing specs since he was a toddler and has numerous eye issues. I get tested every year due to his shitty genes. His shitty jeans is for another post.
