On a separate note Trump will be one of Vance’s proxies in the spin room after the VP debate. That’s great news for the Democrats because if/when Vance says something stupid/controversial the person the media will run too to get an interpretation will be Trump. Vance had a bit of an advantage in that he can point to current problems as the Dems fault and the fact that Trump was president before and actually it was fairly run of the mill.
