Have to agree, after your equaliser I thought it didn't look good and regards to 2nd yellow.

Pies were top notch.

Good to see young yins getting behind team.

Much as I talk up the pies elsewhere I have stopped buying them at Lanark as they are never served hot enough for my liking. It is a good pie though.

Lesmahagow 3 Port Glasgow 3

A good first and last 15, don't know what happened in between but it was far from ideal.

Ports third goal was at least four yards offside.  Doesn't help refs with no linesmen but I reckon the crew on the ISS could have seen it as offside.

I suppose considering we were 3-1 down with seven minutes to go, we will take the point but really should have done much better.

Finnart 2 Lanark 4

Huge difference from last week. 3 up inside 18 minutes. Finnart straight red before half time, which I personally thought was harsh but was assured it was studs up.

3 changes to Finnart line up at half time , including their keeper made a difference. Was not at all obvious  that one team had a man less. A (dodgy) penalty got them back in it. Ball blasted directly at our player - and he gets a yellow!

We missed at least 6 gilt edged chances, hitting the bar etc before getting a 4th. Finnart got a late consolation after our young keeper spilled a long range effort into the path of their oncoming striker.

Starting to get guys back from injury. Brannan only got one more game to go before his suspension is up.

Hard to see how Finnart are top of the league on today's performance.

Vale of Leven 2-1 Dalry Thistle.

A firey and contentious game where neither side really got going. A tale of two late penalties as Ross Cameron cooly stroked away purs before big Evan Currie produced a cracking save to keep Dalry out. Finished 9 v 8, a busy afternoon for the referee.

Ardeer Thistle 4

Glasgow Utd 5

Fair play to the players who played today in horrendous conditions, surface was like quick sand before kick off and got worse as game went on.

Goodwillie back on the scoresheet with a hat-trick, and debut goals from Cha Henderson and Shvan Nuri got the points in a much needed win after not playing since end of January.

Great to see Ardeer get the local kids involved walking out with the team...👏

Lanark 5 Irvine Vics 1

An excellent performance by us today, which could easily have resulted in 8 or 9 goals sees us move up the table to 4th. Played some really good stuff today. Just a pity we conceded a very sloppy goal near the end, caused by a woefully short back pass.  Good to be able to give players a run out today in the 2nd half, with 3 more still to return from injury.

West Park United 1 Lesmahagow 2

A very wet afternoon. Free tea, coffee and biscuits for all, on arrival, was a nice touch.

Gow went ahead on the half hour, then added a second on 75 mins.

West Park got one back deep into added time.

Good away win.

Missed a few weeks nice to be back. The Gow and sinky doing well 7 points from 3 games, beating Lanark along the way. I’m thinking promotion win our game in hand and beat Greenock anything’s possible, yes got some difficult games coming up or is it too much.

Who are now promotion favourites Bellshill I thought were a certainty they get beat with Vale of Leven this weekend, I don’t think they will even go up, bad time to lose form. Threave Finnart Lanark VOL Bellshill Glasgow Utd. Whoever gets beat in the Gow v Greenock game at weekend think it’s over for another season, too much to ask.

I'm going

Threave

Finnart

Bellshill or Vol whoever wins at weekend

@GNU_LinuxWhy 4 up and down rather than 3? Is this dependant on West Premier winner and Lowland relegation?

Its just because of the shading in night mode. When its white background you can see the clearer distinction between 4th top/bottom and the rest.

Also helps that wiki has the annotations explaining the difference.

There is the potential for an additional promotion or relegation place in each league, depending on whether or not a team is relegated into the WoSFL from the Lowland League (highly unlikely this season) and whether or not the WoSFL champions are promoted to the Lowland League.

Thought that would have been case, Thanks!

Heard couple of Bellshill players tooting themselves about and manager must be feeling a bit hot under the collar. If they get beat this weekend it’s another season in the 3rd division I think. Last 5 league games dropped 10points that’s not promotion form.

Since we changed management we have won 10, lost 2 and drawn 1, the best run of form of any team during that period.

We are obviously hoping this sequence of results continues and, if so, should see us promoted.  Long way to go however.

Promising signs that new management team are addressing previous defensive frailties.

Recently brought in Steven McGurgan is a rock at centre half and  very effective going forward. Now backed up by Kyle Stewart, who is very proactive

Young keeper we've had in on loan, Josh McGill has looked very competent and an able deputy to our no 1. Jordan Brown., who is currently injured.

Scoring goals have never been a problem for us. The addition of Greg Miller to the front line has only improved an already potent strike force.

After a transitional period with change of management, etc. We are heading in the right direction.

I wouldn't discount us from the promotion race just yet.
