If that was an option then no brainer imo. Otherwise would be good to get Doak in. All the fringe players you mentioned don't offer enough of a difference to what we have. Only other option is if someone like hardie or stewart goes on a crazy scoring spree in the next 6 months or so. it would be hugely contentious in my view to bring in a previously "undeclared" to make their debut at a tournament without having kicked a ball in anger for us. It would be massively unfair on the player who had to drop out particularly if they had played a role o qualification. Playing at a tournament is reward for the qualification in my view. I know not everyone will agree but I would say it is at least fair to suggest that it is far from a "no brainer"...

Liam Palmer and Leigh Griffiths were amongst those mentioned for their contribution in qualification, but weren't selected so I wouldn't rule it out, fair or not. I suppose Clarke is loyal to a point and we saw that then. Personally speaking I agree with you though. Germany's greatest export is the idea that everything here is efficient. Nothing is. Nothing. Except making beer. Also, who commutes between Berlin and Wolfsburg? Fckn moron.

StevieLes II
I assume it’s not as simple as we will be a “3” team due to being in Pot3?

You're right to assume. Other than Germany who are allocated A1 as hosts every other team drawn out will then be drawn again to be allocated a random place within their group.

Glen Scotia
Slightly off topic. For anyone who has booked accommodation through booking.com there is a scam on the go. The scammers are sending a message THROUGH the booking.com app asking for payment for the property then the payment will be sent back to you. Sounds obvious not to do this but some people do still fall for these scams

GH Staggie
I've had this for 3 bookings I've made for the Euros. I reported it the first time to Booking.com and they said they'd investigate, haven't heard anything since. I didn't bother then next 2 times, I just ignored it and hoped it was a scam.

England are C4 so they aren't in Munich or Stuttgart. Dates and locations of their games are ideal for avoiding them too unless you've booked to stay near Gelsenkirchen, Frankfurt or Köln.
