Bairnardo
I don’t want to hear from anyone who doesn't want Keysey back. He's served his time, he knows the league and anyway, it's a fucking disgrace that Sky went all woke and chased him out.

"Well, I'm going to give you another name" he says. "You might laugh at me, but I'm going to give you another name." "Ray Parlour." Look, it might just be nostalgia, but there's a couple of names I want to throw in; Iain Dowie? Proven bouncebackablity. 'Member Tim Lovejoy single handedly getting that into the mainstream? Alternatively - Alan Pardew would absolutely rape it as a presenter, in my opinion.

MarkoRaj
Hazard was top 5 in the world at his peak. He won Barclays pler of the year twice running. He couldn't sustain it obviously but the idea that he was some way off the top level is nonsense
MarkoRaj
League and cup double and French pler of the year at Lille as well at 20 years old Some careers have an earlier peak and tail off quicker. Plenty of examples of that, doesn't detract from how good he was
DrewDon
These lads truly understand the spirit of the Barclays.
ClydeTon
I would much rather support a bunch of diddy teams (oh, right...) than two teams in the same leagues. If a, say, Union Berlin fan supports Barcelona as their 'big team' - fine. It's a different country. If they support Bayern though, different story.

DrewDon
My three favourite parts (no particular order): 1) "Alderley Wedge" 2) Gray misunderstanding Keysey's argument halfway through about what/who would stay in Newcastle and what/who would go, and then quietly correcting himself in the background like David Brent trying to keep up with Chris Finch 3) The anti-Neville consensus between all three at the end. J-Lingz getting telt. The Family unit finally being placed at the forefront of footballing considerations.

He was far more suited to being at a lower pressure environment like Chelsea. Take him to the hothouse pressure of Madrid and he totally wilted, as Bale eventually did too. Only the strongest mentally can survive and thrive there. Shades of Antonio Cassano about his time at Madrid. I'd imagine he's fairly content with how he did.

No doubt, which is why he pretty much chucked it in his early 30s. The elite mentality is to never be content, Ronaldo is clearly a massive b*****d but he has the perfect mentality to maximise his abilities as a player (not as a team mate). I don't doubt Hazard is a far more normal balanced person, but it held him back in his career. He should have stayed pampered at Chelsea.
