Wouldn't really be like Everton fans to stop going because of failures. Even last year, there was still a very long waiting list for Goodison season tickets.

When they’re up against your Yeovil’s, your Doncaster’s and your Scunthorpes (or whoever is in the npower championship these days) every week, things might change.

It really is a cracking looking Stadium when you see it across The Wirral.

I wouldn't mind that tbf. Then again I am used to the likes of Inverness and Ayr.
DukDukGoose
Struggling to understand how Everton feel hard done by getting nothing from that game.

Yeovil and Scunthorpe have free-fallen and are sitting in the sixth tier now. It’s your Plymouths and your Rotherhams you need to watch out for these days.
Musketeer Gripweed
Everton are pretty much screwed at the moment. The 777 deal looks like collapsing as their current dodgy creditors thinks these chancers are even dodgier than them. Dyche is safe as they can't afford to sack him.
Diamonds are Forever
It's extremely frustrating knowing that Everton will stink the place out this season yet again, but in all probability will manage to avoid relegation due to having 3 awful teams below them. Luton have no chance, Sheffield Utd seem like certainties too. The only hope is Burnley have a bit about them. They've only played the top 2 plus Villa so far so hopefully against some poorer teams they are able to compete. Everton are rank rotten and in a normal year they would be easy relegation fodder, but 2 of the 3 promoted teams don't seem to have put any effort into staying up, just using the Barclays money to stabilize their finances at Championship level so all they really need to do is finish ahead of Burnley or maybe Wolves Edited September 17, 2023 by senorsoupe

You say that but it took a very late goal for City to beat them then two even later goals for Spurs to beat them yesterday.

You need to actually win games to avoid relegation and they'll be lucky to do so more than 3 times all season.
senorsoupe
Nottingham Forest employ a lot of players I didn't realize they had signed.

invergowrie arab
VAR quite right to check that handball. If it had brushed his arm that's the sort of thing we want out of the game
gannonball
I knows he's not done a great deal in senior football and was overhyped to f**k for doing well with the English youth teams but how did Forest get Odoi for only a couple of million? Ro Sham Bo
Some hit by Hudson-Odoi. After watching Chelsea put in a toothless display yesterday, he looks like exactly the sort of player they need...
The Master
Those honours around the upper tier at the City Ground are a wild ride. You’ve got the 1980 European Cup, then two trophies later they’re claiming the second tier title as a major honour. Three and it’s the play-off “title”.
