parsforlife
Poppy corner flags No red for me, yes if he’s anywhere near the man but the chance of any contact is very low.

DrewDon
I don't blame Michael Oliver for not calling it as a red card immediately, but I'm amazed that VAR haven't sent him to the monitor. Sterling has essentially been 'punished' for deciding that he doesn't want a broken leg and having the awareness to move out of the way of it.
Jambomo
Romero probably will get sent off but ffs I could kick him harder than that. Soft as ice cream.

Bairnardo
Neville itching for that to be a red card. Absolutely f**k all in it
DrewDon
I'm quite happy with that Romero one not being referred to the monitor, though. There is hardly any power to the kick. It is the definition of petulant, but it is a yellow card offence maximum. If I were a footballer, I'd much rather a player did to me what Romero did there than what Udogie did.
Ro Sham Bo
Another one that Spurs are lucky to get away with. It's a pity Arteta isn't the studio guest tonight
jagfox
Not enough in the Romero one to qualify as a potential red, imo.

peasy23
Udogie definitely very lucky, and a totally needless challenge. Romero was a yellow at worst.

Have peoples’ stances on those sorts of incidents softened recently? When I was growing up that was a textbook red card. It didn’t matter how much force was in it, if you kick out at someone off the ball then you’re off. More and more nowadays players get away with it.
