Feel free to have a look at our “offside” goal late on and proffer your opinions.

We would have had Dunfermline away😩

Well, if the player who 'scored' had been in shot when the ball was passed, it might be possible to offer an opinion. As he wasn't......

Broxburn Athletic v Buckie Thistle
Dunbar United v Alloa Athletic
Greenock Morton v Luncarty/Bo'ness United
Musselburgh Athletic/Clyde v Jeanfield Swifts

With exception of a trip to a full-time Championship outfit for Luncarty - if progress - none of those are especially glamorous; but as such they all give a chance to progress to 'promised land' of R4.

Not sure what to make of this. Buckie are a step up from both Nairn and Deveronvale so it’s a difficult one. Still it’s at home so have half a chance.  Buckie fans will probably be thinking the same.

Watching the Musselburgh game - big incentive for them to win tonight. Hope they do as it would mean a guarantee of one EOS team in the 4th round.

(Fri) Clyde 2-0 Jeanfield Swifts
Broxburn Athletic
 2-2 Buckie Thistle     (aet, FT 1-1, 4-5p)
Dunbar United 1-2 Alloa Athletic

Heartbreak for Dunbar who played well, led early on, conceded twice from headed crosses but could never quite force the equaliser. Even their 'keeper came close at the death. Based on good chances spurned both halves - they could have won. Excellent crowd.

From what I can see Broxburn were 1-0 up against 10-men (BBC claims 9-men!)... pegged back... then 2-1 up in extra-time... pegged-back... and have lost on penalties; which is a fairly astonishing state of affairs. They will be absolutely gutted.

Jeanfield reportedly competed very well last night but Clyde scored when it mattered.

Buckie went down to 10 about 25 mins in... silly challenge from a guy already on a booking. Broxburn finally scored with about 10 minutes to go, tried to park the bus and see the game out... the ref found a ludicrous amount of stoppage time and Buckie equalised in the 98th minute.

Broxburn scored with 2 minutes left of extra time... great hit from free kick. Immediately resorted again to trying to see the game out... and Buckie equalised in stoppage time... Onto penalties and Buckie had the winning lottery ticket for that!

Game was overall short of quality, but high on drama. Decent crowd in too... hope most of them return to keep backing the team.

The cruelest of the cruel just got crueler!! Last kick of the ball denied Broxburn twice of a 4th round spot. Buckie now get the plum draw (ironically Broxburn would have been the same ball number as Buckie - No.8) of the Champions away 😭😭😭😭.

Can only agree your comments re Dunbar.
It’s tough but that’s how it is.

One of the ‘what if’ scenario possibilities seems to be including Dunbar & Broxburn. Both putting on very good displays and perhaps on another day, who knows?

But if both had gone into the pot for round four their ball numbers would have resulted in -

DUFC vs Rangers

Celtic vs Broxburn

Not bad for two clubs in tier 6 of the Scottish game.

Not quite - if both had gone into the draw then it would've been Broxburn v Dumbarton.

There you go,,,, that’s a bit different from a trip to the field of Dreams at G40/Kerrydale St.   The moral being quote others at your own peril 😃🙄

Anybody any idea when this will be drawn for this season?

Also what dates are scheduled in the calendar?

Prelims normally August so draw can't be far away?

Draw was July 26 with PR1 on Aug 12 last year so should be soon
