At least the farmers know how to get a pitch playable. Embarrassing that a local junior teams pitch is playable ahead of a premiership teams pitch.

You are showing a distinct lack of understanding with regards to why one pitch can be playable while another pitch in the same city can be unplayable due to rain.  Google really is your friend in situations like this.

What we should have done at 9.30 AM is to say " Yeah the ground is playable" and disregard the fact that the forecast was for increased rain. Then let six fingered, banjo strumming yokels like yourself spend their time and benefit money travelling down before saying 30 minutes before kick off time that the game was off.

I appreciate the early call off. Too many times our fans will be in Perth before a game is called off. Still does not answer why the pitch was not playable, when your lower neighbours was.

Well it could be that at 9.30 AM the ground was playable but given the volume of rain expected it was decided that by 3 PM it'd be unplayable and therefore they wanted to prevent unnecessary travel for both your team and fans. Or it may be that the Lochee pitch is on sand. Where were Lochee's opponents coming from? Perhaps it wasn't as distant as Dingwall.

Look at the state of the pitch on Dundee’s social media. Its not that it was just waterlogged it’s a mud bath already so early in the season.

That wasn't taken today. It's an old picture. I suppose we could have gotten somebody up to take a picture of a puddle for you if necessary

Carthorses are fine to play around in the mud - racehorses not so much. The game was called off to protect the Dundee players.

Lochee United's pitch is in Dryburgh. Always has that advantage. HTH.

Why don't the three of you just move to Perth then?

What do you mean "too many times"?

Its happened once and the game was called off over an hour before kick off, after an inspection had been held 4 hours before kick off with the club making it clear there would be a 2nd inspection closer to kick off as the rain was expected to continue.

I think he means in Perth as in going through Perth en route to somewhere else.
