He’s also ambitious and sees himself following in the footsteps of Postecoglou as it’s what he has done his entire managerial career. So if they get a new guy in, he’s going to have to replace every player, who I assume are all on long contracts, including the captain. Where do they get the money for that? The new signings look awful, nobody will pay for them and their hall of fame captain is about to be 32. Nobody is paying big money for any of them. This is the delusion, they will just chuck money at it until it works rather than having any sort of plan. Kent and Hagi are massive money signings that they are going to have zero return on, Morelos was worth a decent wedge at one point but they couldn't sell big Alfie because he was too important.
