Flybhoy
Didier Six and Alan Giresse celebrate the latter's goal to put France 3-1 up in extra time against West Germany, in a match best remembered for Harald Schumacher almost killing Patrick Battiston the French would blow that extra time lead as it finished 3-3 and they lost on penalties in the semi final of the 1982 World Cup in Spain.

That game would likely be called off now due to the playing surface and risk of injury to the players. Modern fitba? Pish.

GNU_Linux
Ahn Jung-Hwan scoring a golden goal for South Korea in extra time against Italy in the Round of 16 at the 2002 World Cup. Ahn was on loan at the time to Perugia who'se owner Luciano Gaucci promptly cancelled his contract & said some not very nice things but then later took back what he said & tried to sign Ahn who told Perugia to get tae. Even more distasteful when you factor in Ahn having been subject to racist abuse during his time at the club. Ahn wound up having to pay Perugia $3.5 million for 'damages in the transfer market'.

Molotov
I always remember that when Liverpool were winning everything in the late 70s early 80s the Scots in the squad always ensured they had a separate photo together. 1984 European Cup Nicol, Dalglish, Hansen, Gillespie and Souness.

Flybhoy
Branco wheels away in celebration after his thunderous free kick seals Brazil's place in the semi final of the 1994 World Cup in a 3-2 thriller which The Netherlands came from 2-0 down to level the scores only to be undone late on, the match with the famous Bebeto baby rocking goal celebration. Think this match was played in Dallas.
Flybhoy
The only meeting of the two Germanys at the 1974 World Cup, East surprisingly defeating West with the only goal scored by Jurgen Sparwasser in Hamburg. Having both already qualified this actually worked against the country also referred to as the DDR (Showing my age here) as they went into a more difficult following section than the West/GDR alongside Brazil, The Netherlands and Argentina, where they sunk without trace, whilst their hosts had a much easier group it has to be said with Yugoslavia, Sweden and Poland.
