Barry Ferguson's Hat
The worldwide cabal of corrupt referees have had it coming for a long time. We should rise up and assault referees at all levels.

pozbaird
Just as well this shit happens in a volatile madhouse like Turkey and not here…After VAR review, no punch was thrown from the Rangers bench. Result is a penalty to Rangers, and the fourth official will officiate the remainder of the match.

BFTD
Noticed a few "this has been coming for a while" comments in the reporting. Jail and banned from being anywhere near a football ground again, hopefully. Thankfully it looks like the crowd were smart/sane enough to avoid rioting after their president decided to lamp the ref because his team conceded a goal in injury time
Alert Mongoose
To be fair, the owner has come out and explained it wasn't his intention to harm the ref. He is quoted by news agencies in Turkey as saying he does not accept responsibility, adding: "This incident developed due to the wrong decisions and provocative behaviour of the referee. My aim was to react verbally to the referee and spit in his face."
