Would have been a red for Saints if we'd done the Halkett challenge.

Halkett escaped a stick on yellow for a jersey tug on Aynunga in first half.

Walsh refereering like a guy who chopped of 3 Saints goals last time these teams played.

Walsh is well out of his depth. He set the tone for his one sided biased display by booking Gogic after 20 seconds.

That was a really weird one.

How can he mix up Taylor for Gogic - one's a skinhead, the other is 4 inches taller with afro hair - they're not even the same colour.

Not much between the sides with Shankland being the difference.

He really is some player- 2 goals whilst also managing to referee the game at the same time.

One team defending comfortably while the other repeatedly tried to gift the opposition goals was another key difference, I thought.

We've definitely been on the up

We got 11 points from the first 10 games We've already got 15 from the last 7

Clearly this improvement will last forever and nothing can possibly go wrong from here on

Called it

It’s taken Naismith a couple of dozen games to go from naive managerial novice to experienced master and we’re now basically invincible

There is no way this post will come back to haunt me

Well beat, and sadly our 6 strikers who all have been getting mins on the pitch recently did hee haw as usual.

Time to try and unload some of them in January.

Some decent play from Ayunga at times, but telling that our two biggest chances came from defenders.

He is the best of a bad bunch and due to the length of time he was out injured, he certainly deserved more time. The rest are just not good enough for this league.

You could see enough danger in that St Mirren side to understand how they achieved that great start to the season but it also wasn’t tricky to see why their recent results have been so rough

They looked like a decent side that’s really struggling for form

Controlled. Barely felt threatened for the entirety of that.

5 separate occasions where fans headed the ball the 2nd best thing after Shankland's 2nd.

I take it you missed Alan Forrest delivering a body check on Douglas Ross

We’re really missing Strain.

At the start of the season he was in great form and his deliveries were really dangerous.

For about 4 weeks (after being away with Australia) he was playing like he was carrying an injury.  And then after last international trip he picked up an injury that’s needed an op and is expected to be out for 4 months.

We need to shift a couple of the striker wages and try to get someone in in January that can play there.

Small tries hard, and has some talent, but he’s so left footed we can’t really expect him to do what Strain did as RWB.

The difference between the teams was Shankland.

Two great finishes.

Take him out of the game and both teams could still be playing out a 0-0 draw.

Parallels with Aberdeen and Miovski and 'Well last year with KVV.

You called it right there. Strain on form makes a massive difference. He is the key to how we play.

Only thing you missed was that we have signed Elvis to play RWB. He is not available until the 1st of Jan
