Killie vs. Dees, Saturday 30th December 3pm

Think that goal proves that McInnes used to just hand out the bibs and Docherty was the brains behind the operation. Anything that happens later in this game, later in the season or indeed the rest of their respective careers, Docherty has made that point clear.

Thanks Doc.

Thanks Doc.

Also The Doc looks like he'd ruin Del in a ruck.

Thank you.

That's not even in question. McInnes loves himself too much whereas Docherty looks like he'd be a wee bulldog.

What a half. One way traffic. Sylla looks utter class and another belter from McCowan. Liking the extra body in midfield. Mulligan also has impressed. Obviously the game’s not over and you’d expect Killie to come out fighting. Marvin must be hurting, pray for Dayna.

That was a fairly straightforward half. Probably the easiest half we've had all season.

Looks like Docherty is winning the battle of the mind games. George Cran said our pre match warm up with the changes we've made was all geared towards us changing to a 4 at the back formation. Kilmarnock seemed to let us have 75% of the possession to try and counteract the fact we are usually a sit deep and counter team. We've struggled to create anything past a very deep sitting Kilmarnock but a moment of magic from McCowan sees us deservedly ahead. Pity we didn't have a better attacking presence as the way Killie approached that half, we could have went further ahead. Can't see Kilmarnock being as passive as that in the second half.

Atrocious 45 minutes.

Fine with the scoreline- but the lack of response to Dundee’s physicality has been shameful.

Watson has pulled out of two 50:50s and was absolutely jelly at the goal.

Midfield being totally dominated which is rendering our two wingers completely impotent.

Tony Doc has set Dundee up brilliantly, but the lack of Killie fight is just inexcusable.

Vassell screaming at Dennis for being a shitebag was a little uncalled for IMO- not great leadership from a guy who has been carried the whole season by those around him.

Would be curious as to the tone of discussions in the dressing room at half time.

Response needed. Worst 45 of the season and not surprised by comments above from Dees fans saying it has been their best 45.

Ah fitba’ eh? 😂
