Dunning1874 Posted January 6 Share Posted January 6 Going to go out on a limb and say that's the first time we've ever had two different players score perfect hatricks in consecutive games. That was outstanding and I think we deserved that. Over the 90 we probably just about had more chances for all that we had less of the second half. Even aside from the obvious of the goals, what a performance from Oakley throughout. But nothing sums up the turnaround like big gorgeous George being there to SWORD the opposition anyway. 17 points from 21 and now with three home games on the bounce to hopefully maintain this momentum. Partick next week, Montrose in the cup, and then Arbroath (H), Dunfermline and QP (A) and Airdrie (H), before Raith will probably break the run. Reasonably we should be getting at least 10 in that run-in - and, presuming results are favourable - a win over Airdrie would take us above them. We had eight (2 youngsters) on the bench today, and that was without Muirhead, Baird and King, who scored a worldie for Clyde, apparently (as he does.) - meaning come next week we should more or less have a full squad.
