Last time I went to the shows I won a goldfish in a bag. It died within days.

I was going to say similar, I thought "the shows" was just general scottish vernacular for these kind of travelling fair / waltzers kinda stuff, usually run by guys with big mars bars down one cheek..............

Been to a good few shows over the last couple of years. All been great.. However the crowd in Aberdeen are always miserable. Is this the same elsewhere?

Most folk on here, not me obviously, will tell you that all Aberdonians are miserable Tory b*st*rds.

Can you get a rowie at the showies, or do you go hungry and have to go home via the chipper?

For the umpteenth time, they're butteries. You've got the chipper right though.

Just dont hang out your fresh knickers when the boys are in town.

Learned that from experience.

Is there a circumstance you would hang your knickers out when they're NOT fresh?
