Raith Rovers 🔵⚪️ [3] Vs [3] Partick Thistle 🔴🟡 [Rovers progress on penalties]

Recommended Posts

Thistle looked knackered towards the end of both games last week and I think that’s showing tonight. Raith look much sharper, most notable with two clinical finishes. I was hoping for some Murrayball semi final play-off drama but that might have to wait for the final.

Rovers looking very good. Their midfield and attack are impressive. Good options on the bench as well. So far they look a level up from Thistle.

Even though I’d like Rovers to get through, need Thistle to get back into this and make a game of it…

Would like the second leg to go to extra time with some heavy legs if Saints are due to play the winners.

Thistle looked like they were blowing out their arse after 25 minutes. These play offs are a total nonsense. Same rules for every division, except the Premiership to benefit the "big boys" Ross County, St Johnstone, Livingston et al 🥴

Thistle look absolutely burst. Only danger in this tie is if Rovers somehow chuck it.

Tiredness definitely a factor. Raith should maybe start conserving energy as too much effort will make them tired against Saints/County.

You understand the 2 play off Premiership sides play tomorrow night and then Sunday, don't you?

Partick aren't playing any more games in a shorter time than either?

Aye the Premiership playoffs are like they are because the Premiership sides play 2 extra league games is it not?
