It usually works Pete, it's the trains, the tracks, the signals and the burn that floods at Bowling which are the problem.

Rarely works for me.

Drove down and parked up in Pilton this morning and walked into the centre to work from the Edinburgh office. Not far off walking back to Pilton now. Bricking it.

For the game or the chance of your car being there/ in one piece?

Blair Carswell's kicking has been the only entertainment since the equaliser, which he sold with his poppadom wrists. Such a jobber.

100%. Hates it at his feet. We need to be putting pressure on him at every chance.

I don't think we're playing well. We're coping. Spartans have had plenty of useful possession but they've not been able to deliver too many testing balls into the final 3rd. We're sweeping up loose balls at the back before they really become threatening. But I think we've been sloppy in midfield and these long balls for Ruth to hold up or to chase into the channels are doing nothing for us. Game is passing a few Sons players by. I'd hook Wallace at half time - he's been struggling to get involved after he looked to pull up with a muscle strain. James Graham running at the Spartans defence might put them under a lot more pressure.

So far it's good enough. Not great but good enough. I'd maybe be looking to replace Hilton and Wallace though. Blair Malcolm would give the midfield a bit more and would help Gray and Newbury.
