General Election 2024

Recommended Posts

Interesting to look at this first result from Yorkshire... barely any increase for Labour, but Conservatives down 20% plus both Reform and Lib Dems up 10%, with the latter paddling past to win.

Yuck. If Labour do at all well the SNP will be in the doldrums for years.

Might it not allow the rejuvenation the SNP could use?

How do they work out seeing to Reform given they are new?

Just share of vote?

They are showing the difference from 2019 if the Brexit Party stood in the seat, just showing vote share where they didn't.

Turnout plunges more than 10% in Berwickshire Roxburgh & Selkirk from 71.3% to 61.1% - having been as high as 74.2% back in 2015 when the unionist base fled Lib Dems for Conservatives.

This is the one constituency I'd have been happy for Reform to win. Whoeber their candidate is can't possibly be a bigger c**t than Mark Francois.

Sturgeon back on ITV.

George Osborne recommending Pritti Patel as the next Tory leader.
