Okay.  You work Tuesday, Wednesday And Thursday.

So do lots of other people.

I'm a public servant.

They pretend to pay me and I pretend to work.

Ed Davey would've been riding about on one of the rams and taking part in a jousting competition with Willie Rennie.

Despite everything, I'm going to struggle to begrudge them their extra seats this time out. It's been a masterstroke to go away on a Butlins adventure holiday while everyone else is doing boring campaign work.

Does the Reform Party paying a vetting company £144000 to vet their candidates, complain that they didn't do any vetting and they've subsequently got some right wrong uns, threaten to sue, and then get shown the bit on the company's website which states that they don't actually do the vetting, they just let you use their tools to do your own vetting count as a gaffe?

I'd say so.

For most political parties yes, for Reform is more same old same old.

The REFUK, Brexit, UKIP, Veritas, Referendum parties have all been great value for hilarious candidate selections; they'll take anybody at face value so long as they agree that something needs to be done about THEM.

I think the BNP and National Front might have been immune to this as their only selection criteria was not being black, which is difficult (although not impossible) to f**k up. They're not quite so funny as, however ridiculous people like Nick Griffin are, you know they'd be kicking your teeth in with steelies if there weren't consequences.

Farage selling out the candidates he was white knighting hours previously is rather on brand.

It would amusing if somebody joined the Reform Party and especially because they are sick of Broken Britain and Pub licencing laws that are far too strict while somebody did the same because the licencing laws are not strict enough.

They'll be a broad church, much like the SNP, only instead of independence their single uniting factor is doing something about THEM.

The really amusing thing will when a lot of their voters find out that they are THEM and they just didn't realise it. It won't seem so amusing by that point, though.
