Bad Wolf
As I'm trying to eradicate the c word from my vocabulary I have literally nothing to say about Starmy.
Leith Green
Anyone else think its more than a coincidence that Starmer is "onside" with Rishi regarding gender reform in Scotland (despite his MSPs stance), while looking for Sunak to "work with" Starmer and Labour in order to make the best of the Brexit shambles and blindside the ERG? Maybe just me - I will look out my tinfoil hat.......................... Edited January 16, 2023 by Leith Green

It’s an interesting strategy, vote for us as we’re not going to do any of the things we promised. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/keir-starmer-indicates-he-will-ditch-leadership-pledge-to-scrap-tuition-fees_uk_63c3b84de4b0cbfd55f3c7e3 Didn't that tube Jedi tell us Labour would bin those?
ICTJohnboy
Anyone else think that if this lady was leader, people might begin to take Labour seriously?
DeeTillEhDeh
If I were a SLab MP or MSP I'd seriously be considering defecting to the SNP - siding with the Tories on GRR is just criminal.

Any SLAB MPs and MSPs with any scruples have long since defected. What remains are a group of spineless simpletons who will do exactly what they're told to do by head office.

That's all very well but we're only talking about Jackie Baillie, Daniel Johnson and Ian Murray who could do that and not forfeit their post. What a sorry bunch.

If I lived in England and she was leader I’d consider voting for them rather than just spoiling my paper.

What do you think Labour’s position on a second IndyRef would be if she was leader? Or whether they supported the Tories on striking down legislation in the devolved Scottish Parliament?

Right now she has the privilege of talking as someone who isn't party leader. But should she find herself in that position, she will fall right into line.

I believe she could very well be sympathetic to both, but we'll never know as long as Starmer is in charge.

Their Unionism is above any socialist feelings. Which is what has been killing Scottish Labour for a decade or more.

Call them what they really are.......... UK Nationalists.

There must be millions of voters in England who are completely disenfranchised with the only two parties who have any chance of forming a government having no electoral appeal to them.
Brother Blades
I caught a clip of Mick Lynch addressing a rally regarding the new anti-strike legislation & he mentioned that there were representatives of the SNP, Greens & Labour backbenchers in attendance giving support (may have been on the platform) & highlighted that not one single Labour frontbenchers had the balls to turn up in support. Labour has no purpose with the currrent leadership.
