lichtgilphead
Oh f*ck. I thought that long and boring Jedilists were a thing of the past. I'll keep this short however. How many of these "acheivements" apply to Scotland? Maybe 6 or 7? Of these 6 or 7, how many have implemented? Maybe 2 or 3? Obviously it must have been more important to freeze pensioners and to bypass Holyrood by giving Ian Murray £150m to waste. Huzzah!

A Diamond For Me
My favourite "Keith is totally a socialist, he's just waiting, biding his time, trust me bro" was deselecting an MP because he went to a picket line and replacing him with a slum landlord.
J_Stewart
"Changed planning policy to build more homes" is a hilarious "achievement" to brag about when it essentially consists of increasing the rents of people in existing "affordable housing". Wonder what the "Poverty Taskforce" findings will be on that genius initiative.
Sherrif John Bunnell
Who cares about the years of misery that Labour are about to inflict on the working class? Only Sir Keir could have invited all of these guys into the same Teams meeting.

It seems Starmer has happily adopted the same philosophy and, as this article points out, it is an outright lie.

Might as well include "took firm action to end world hunger" or "started action to end the war in Ukraine". "They've only been in charge a few weeks" is a fair defence, but switching to "look at these amazing achievements (but not too closely)" is desperate stuff.

Tbf, I use "taskforce" as a single word. I was more concerned by the rogue apostrophe in "mayor's". However, spelling & grammar aren't the main problems here - it's the total lack of any real positive impact in Scotland that should concern everyone.
Granny Danger
I’m a little surprised that after a couple of months as PM Starmer is not getting more criticism for holding the same position as Sunak’s on the murder of 40,000 Palestinians by Israel. Not flabbergasted but a little surprised.

Jedi2
When Labour make reductions in unprotected areas..of course its major Austerity.(and, despite the Tories having left a £22 million hole, its Labour's fault)...when other parties slash £500 million from public services, end a promise for Universal Free School Meals, and freeze the Council Tax to appease middle class voters and thereby starve local authorities of property funding, its 'balancing thr budget' and of course 'Westminster's fault' Couldn't take a blowtorch to their neck Note: Didnt 'name' any party in particular Edited September 5 by Jedi2
