The fact of the matter is that with 21,000 members the Scottish Labour Party is very much a minority in Scottish politics, whoever is elected as leader they will be the 10th in 21 years, and therein lies a problem that the Scottish public just get to know a SL leader and the next they are gone, if they cannot provide stability in Parliament then the public will move away from them as they have done in their droves given their 3rd position in Parliament.

It really is a sad state of affairs when you consider Scots like Hardie and Maxwell formed the party to where they are now in Scotland.
