Just waiting for reintroduction of the Poor Laws and establishment of Workhouses. Why do you hate traditional British values? Workhouses provide security for hardworking families.

Next they'll be saying they're going to mandate that all new build houses must have a chimney, so that there are job opportunities for all small children. The children need to contribute to the family rather than just take out.

Aye, but the fact that she's managed to remain in the shadow cabinet should offer you a clue.

DrewDon
A decent day for landlords and 19-year-old briefcase wankers with a weird Peter Mandelson obsession.

Sherrif John Bunnell
I'm surpised Starmer hasn't purged this guy for being too far-left.

If she was that left wing, she probably wouldn’t be there in the first place.

StellarHibee
Labour apparently ruling out any possibility of water re-nationalization south of the border if they win the next election. Got to hand it to Starmer. He know's his ideology and hasn't held back.

They are getting more ' left wing' than Labour.

The Westgate Road area of Newcastle has the city's main (only) large ethnic minority population. A number of years back a local corner shop came under new management and was renamed Aryan. Thinking that the white supremacist backlash was under way, I thought I should investigate and went in to the shop. New proprietor, far from being bald, fat and ugly, was a very pleasant wee Indian guy. After I had pompously suggested to him that the name of his shop was entirely inappropriate, he was sufficiently polite to explain that the shop was, in fact, named after his son. Exit slightly chastened well meaning liberal.
Granny Danger
Labour on course to win Mad Nad’s seat when (if) she resigns. Shows how far to the right Starmer has dragged Labour if they can overturn a majority of almost 25,000. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/by-election-poll-nadine-dorries-mid-bedfordshire-b2368031.html#comments-area

Salt n Vinegar
With any luck, Starker will change his mind on opposing another Indyref too. Why not? He seems to change his view on just about everything else.
StellarHibee
It's not Labour's policy to oppose Conservative policy. But it won't stop an island of idiots from voting for them anyway. Then wondering 4-5 years down the line why things have only continued to go in the same direction.
