Draws with North Macedonia, Slovakia, Switzerland and Slovenia and a defeat to Iceland in that run. How they’re still in this is anyone’s guess. They've taken Wales's "spawniest team in football" crown.

Miguel Simao
2 minutes ago, ScottishLoon said: Now that England are through you realise how annoying it is that the Netherlands are missing de Jong and koopmeiners in midfield if they get through. Reijnders and Schouten were very good against Romania, having Memphis Depay playing up front instead of the likes of Van Persie is their biggest weakness for me.

Ya Bezzer! Oh wait it's another second rate outfit, who will in all likelihood lose a few players to injuries/suspensions before that game anyway. It is the depth of England's squad that makes their path to the final ludicrous. Iceland 2024 beat them couple of weeks ago.

Surely it's clear as day that you ultimately won't win the tournament playing like this? Not going to give a f**k if they win it are they. I have the fear lads, the real fear.

At least they've scored 5 goals. France are in the semis without a goal from open play in the tournament! Fully expect them to make the final.

Over the years the team and their unpleasant fans have drained every bit of enjoyment out of it. I never watch them anymore. They wrote off Switzerland yet are now celebrating as if they are great underdogs having beaten them on penalties. I hear you but with Netherlands / Turkey, Spain / France to get past I can't see how they can win it based on what we've seen so far. They're winning despite Southgate and I honestly would drop Kane for Watkins or Toney. To not have brought any subs on when the game was drifting away from them and only when going behind, highlights the main problem for them. Have faith in the footballing gods.

Monkey Tennis
England, with its population of over 57 million has now played against five sides at this tournament. I think it's fair to say that England has been the poorer side in each of those matches. The countries they've played have a combined population of around 29 million. Don't tell me England won't win this thing. They bloody will. Edited July 6 by Monkey Tennis
