Some turnaround by Japan's women in the football. A goal down on 90 minutes they levelled it through a VAR review penalty, then won it with a brilliant 30 yard lob over the keeper after a mistake by Brazil.

Andy Murray time

Going badly wrong very quickly.

I forgot Nishikori was even still a thing, but he’s just had 3 superb games in a row.

A bit of an usuual one which sidetracks from the sporting aspect of the Olympics, but I'm struggling to comprehend how anyone could think it would be a good idea to include this guy in the games.

Convicted child rapist Steven van de Velde made his Olympic beach volleyball debut to a mixed reaction in Paris, with audible boos.

Van de Velde was sentenced to four years in prison in 2016 after admitting three counts of rape against a 12-year-old British girl.

John McGlynn will probably try to sign him.

Just looked up the details of this and it is worse than I thought. c**t should still be in jail, never mind the Olympics.Β

Tennis on both BBC streams. At least give us the option of something else to watch.

Clare Balding reads P&B, they're switching to the swimming at half past.
